Our new inverter/charger

The MULTIPLUS inverter charger 12/3000/120-32 combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.

It has all the functions of the MultiPlus plus an option for an external current transformer to implement the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions and to measure self-consumption with external current measurement (max. 32 A) to optimize.

It also offers all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an ever-growing list of countries where it is legal.

Note: For a short period of time this product was called MultiGrid-II.

PowerAssist

The MultiPlus-II prevents a limited AC power source such as a B. a generator or a shore power connection is overloaded. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to protect against overloading. Next, the output of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.

ESS: Energy Storage Systems

The MultiPlus-II is a key component in a Victron ESS. It is very flexible and can be combined with an MPPT solar charger or a grid feed-in inverter for PV systems. Examples and further information can be found in the ESS (Energy Storage System) manual.

Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS Feature)

In the event of a grid failure or if shore power or If the on-board generator is interrupted, the inverter of the Multi is automatically switched on and takes over the supply of the connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue to operate without interruption.

Remote monitoring and control

In connection with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX) you can use the free VRM App and Free VRM Portal website to control your Multi and the system or systems locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet from anywhere in the world monitor and control. Access can be via a phone, tablet, laptop or PC running a variety of operating systems.
